doubleohblonde: (Bond is tired of this bull)

Office Hours [All Day, Monday]

Bond had had a far from unpleasant weekend, with the company at the ball being much less tedious than he'd feared, and Faith proving to be a most challenging sparring partner. Monday, however, found him in his office, overcome with an odd sense of restlessness, and while he could focus on his class plans, he really had very little desire to.

He just hoped this restlessness wasn't going to turn to boredom. Boredom was not a good mood to find Bond in. For anyone.

"Just throw 'em a jeep and some bombs and a bunch of people shooting..." Kerrigan smirked at Bond. "Or a Vulture bike. Morning." She sipped her cup of coffee.

"It'd be good life experience," she noted, leaning against the doorway. "God knows some of 'em can use it."

"Not like I have anything better to do this morning," Kerrigan snorted, and wandered into the room.

Ah, the room in which repression thrived.

"Had 'em planned last year," Kerrigan said, settling on the chair with her coffee, "Now I just go for whatever hits me." Which had absolutely nothing to do with being distracted.

Kerrigan found the office of repression to be very soothing.

She sipped her coffee again. "Exactly," she said. "Get 'em a few simple missions one week, have them shot at the next. It works."

"Which is the great advantage of simulations, yes," Kerrigan agreed easily. "You should send your class into one of my sims some time." Pause. "You wouldn't happen to have anyone called Adama in your class, would you?"

"Yeah," Kerrigan said, with a smirk. Then added, dry as all hell, "Hurt him. Hurt him good."

"Can't concentrate on doing his job," because school was a job, "For all the daddy issues he keeps dwelling on. He needs a shot in the behind every once in a while."

Clearly, Lee just needed to learn how to repress better.

"I appreciate it," she nodded. "I promised the boy's father."

"As far as I know," Kerrigan said, dryly. "Boy's lucky."
