doubleohblonde: (Bond is very woeful)

Just outside 18 Apocalypse Ave, [Saturday Morning]

Bond sat on the curb outside the house, a battered, faded polaroid in hand, weeping manly tears of soul deep pain. He didn't understand why she had done it. After all, didn't she have his complete and utter devotion, his loyalty...his love.

Why had she sent him away? Had he done something wrong? Had she tired of him?

Had there been someone else?

He threw back his head and howled a deep cry of sorrow and loss. He howled the name of his lost love.

Roy heard the cry and all he could think was Hughes. He started at a run and never had anyone crossed the park as fast as Roy did that day.

His breath was coming in fast when he didn't find Hughes, but Bond standing in the street. He pushed back his sorrow and pain and concentrated on the man before him, as was his duty. "Mister Bond?" he asked worriedly, still out of breath. "Are you alright? Did you get hurt?"

Roy frowned, but he could not see any injuries on the man. "What happened? Did you get robbed?"

It wasn't hard to read the hurt off Bond's face and Roy was slowly realising that this was another kind of hurt. It made the vision of his only good, left eye blur. "What is it?" he asked quietly.

Roy watch the man's eyes glaze over and he worried that maybe he was going into some kind of shock. "Mister Bond! Stay with me!"

And now the pieces fell together as Roy finally noticed the picture Bond was holding. The poor man. "Where is she?"

Roy looked at the picture closely and nodded. "I can see why," he said. "Can you contact her? Tell her how you feel?"

"Then perhaps," Roy suggested softly. "You should go talk to her in person."

There was only one possible answer to that. "Do you love her?"

"Then you will find her," Roy said with conviction. "Nothing can stop love."

"I do," Roy said quietly, he had to believe it. "You will find her."
