Office Hours [All Day, Monday]

Bond had a new office and that meant going through the usual run through of setting up his belongings, sweeping for bugs, checking over the exits in case of need, cursing that no weapons on campus policy, nothing particularly out of the ordinary.

After getting settled in, he sat down to go over his syllabus and class roster. He was most definitely not thinking about any meetings that had occurred on Friday. At all.

Ferris didn't have class until the afternoon, so he decided to make the most of his time by doing a little reconnaissance. That meant stopping by as many teachers' offices as possible to see what he was dealing with. With a playful knock on the door, Ferris waited to be called on.

Ferris entered the room, regretting not wearing his suit. Still, he looked presentable in his standard leather jacket/vest/t-shirt get up. "Professor?" He'd picked up that the teachers here were called professors. Private school, go figure. "I'm Ferris Bueller. I'm new in town so I thought I'd walk around and introduce myself to the faculty." Cue winning smile.

"I've learned that it's a good idea to make yourself known to those around you so you can learn from them, even if it's not in a traditional classroom setting." Like who to avoid and who has a sympathetic ear.

"I'm sorry, sir, I don't think I caught your name."

"Driver's Ed," Ferris replied. "As much as I would have loved to have taken your class, I all ready have my license. Of course," he said with a sigh in his voice, "I got my first car not long ago only to come here and realize it's of little use to me anyway. There's not exactly a lot of room around here for one of the simple pleasures in life."

"Go-karts can be fun, but zipping around a course with your rear end inches away from the ground can't compare to driving around in a good car. Not that my car is a good car, in fact it's a piece of scrap metal, but it's my piece of scrap metal." Even though it had been liberating for his best friend, Ferris really wished sometimes that Cameron hadn't trashed his father's car.

"Forgive me for saying so, but you don't seem like the kind of guy to own a piece of scrap metal for a car."

"A man after my own heart. Last year, I had to rely on my friend Cameron's piece of scrap metal." Really, it was a piece of shit, but he was behaving himself in front of Professor Bond. "Then he went off to college and I was relegated to the horrors of public transport and relying on my parents until they took pity on me and helped me get a car. I can only hope that one day I'll have the opportunity to drive something like the Ferrari GT California like I did last year. Only 55 were built, if I remember correctly."

"You've driven all of those?"
