"Good afternoon," Bond addressed his assembled class. "This class is Practical Weaponry, and it's more or less exactly that. Each week I will be presenting a scenario here in the Danger Shop, and your job will be to find a way to survive it using either methods that I will have discussed with you beforehand, or by improvising something on your own. I will be demonstrating the use of ranged, and unranged conventional weapons, as well as showing you ways to improvise weaponry from seemingly innocuous everyday items. If anyone has a problem with this, the door is over there."

He paused before continuing. "Unlike certain of your other teacher, I won't be making you wear uniforms, but I would advise you to wear comfortable clothing that allows you freedom of movement."

"Now, onto the matter of teaching assistants." One day Bond would ask for volunteers, or even interest in being his TA. This was not that day. "Reese, Hathaway, congratulations."

"Since it's our first week, we'll just stick to introductions. I want your names, class, what weapons experience you have, and how you personally would handle the zombie apocalyspe," Bond said. He pointed at a random student. "You first."

Rose Hathaway

~~What? Totally a weapon~~

Okay, Dinah was totally right. This instructor was totally hot.

Rose settled in to enjoy the class.

Hannibal King

Okay, Hannibal could do this ~~and he thought the professor was hot too~~. He knew weapons and he'd had some experience with zombies now. He was a pro.

Sort of.

"Rose Hathaway, senior," Rose said easily. "I've been training as a guardian since I was a little kid." She shrugged. Zombies were about the same as Strigoi. "Get the civilians to safety, set guards around the safe zone and then lots of fire and then an axe or baseball bat or something to bash in their skulls."

Kyle Reese

This was a class she was actually interested in (and not just for the hot professor), and Rose was perfectly happy to be a TA for it.

If it meant she got to do extra fighting? So much the better.

Kyle knew when he'd been volunteered for something, but at least most of the time he knew what he was being volunteered for. "What does a TA do?" he asked Bond.

"Kyle Reese, Junior. If you can shoot, I can probably use it. I've been able to shoot since I was big enough to hold a gun. Pistols, rifles, shotguns, automatic, semi-automatic, rocket propelled, grenades, claymores. I might have left some stuff out. As for the apocalypse? The plan is survive."

"Hannibal King, senior and I'm pretty good with my fists but better with handguns, shotguns and some rifles," he said. "I'm also not too bad with knives or heavy things like baseball bats, crowbars or chairs. As for the zombies, probably gather up or join up with a group of people and split them up. One group shoots them to try and slow them, the other slashes with machetes or the like to kill them. All else fails, you can always set them on fire."

Wow, Turtle, you so weren't kidding. Neither were you, Francine.

Dinah attempted to be nonchalant. The intimidation factor of how Professor Bond explained the class helped a lot.

"Dinah Lance, senior. I've been training to fight crime for two years. I'm trained in hand-to-hand, close weapons, sword and guns. Plus I have telekinesis." She took a breath. "And when the zombies were here we focused on protecting the civilians, set up barricades to keep the dorms safe, taking out the zombies with ranged weapons first, then short-ranged weapons and fire, and trying to find the cause of what was going on in order to stop the attacks."

Hyuuga Hinata

~~Whose hands are really really a weapon.~~

"Hinata Hyuuga," she said, carefully trying not to stutter. "I t-think I'm a junior now? Or will be in the fall..."

She ~~and her mun~~ always got confused about the summer classes.

"I've had s-seven years of formal training, and three on active duty," she continued. "I would--build f-fortifications, and then burn the zombies."

Serena van der Woodsen ~~who might have gorgon hair~~

"Serena van der Woodsen, senior," the thing was, she had very little practical weaponry experience. It was part of why she was here. "I'm deadly with a field hockey stick, and I've been to a firing range, and know how to fence. It's probably not going to get me far, but in a zombie apocalypse?" She winced, realizing how lame she likely sounded, "I'd be the girl going for the kneecaps. Don't knock field hockey until you've played it."

Arthur Pendragon ~~who has little icons without one~~

"I am Arthur Pendragon," Arthur answered, choosing to forgo the titles for once, as they didn't particularly seem applicable in this class anyway ('Sir' might have worked, but). "Senior. I've been trained to kill since birth, with the use of weapons from my time."

He was hoping his manner of dress would communicate the nature of said time to Bond, yes. "As for the zombies," he glanced towards Dinah, "We barricaded the school, brought as many in to safety as we could, then set up a flaming trap and armed ourselves while the sorcerers looked into the cause. It worked."

He had also got his brain smashed in in the process, but details.
