The House of Ill-Repute, Saturday

Things had been quiet around the place since Aeryn had left, but today Bond was airing things out, rearranging furniture, and generally sprucing the place up a bit.

Mostly because for some bizarre reason he'd received what he could only assume had been some bar's misdirected delivery (as well as enough bacon to make an entire pig), and he had to find somewhere to put everything.

"That is terrible," Biff told him, heading into the living room and flinging himself onto the sofa. "Tell me all about it."

Bond grabbed a couple of bottles of something he thought Biff would like and followed him.

"As you can see, everyone else left," This what happened when you were a sad, lonely spy who didn't advertise your spare rooms. "Though I did have a housemate for a few months who looked just like Vala. Nothing alike though."

"I saw a few familiar faces in the park, but God knows if they're people I might actually know," he said. "I should see if Ghani's still around."

"She is," Bond said passing him one. "She's come and gone a few times, but she's currently teaching with one of the former students."

"Is she still hot?"

Biff had priorities.

"Very much so."

Bond had eyes.

"Excellent," Biff said, taking a pull from his bottle. "Who else is hot?"

"Apart from us?" There's Sarah, you'll like her if you get a chance to meet, Principal Winchester, of course, more than a few of the bartenders, most of the teaching staff I would say." It was a very attractive island. "Except for the pony."

Bond's tastes were broad, but not that broad.

Biff winced. "Yeah, let's draw the line before the pony. Pretty sure that's an abomination."

"It's pink." So definitely an abomination. "And perky."

"That's just wrong," Biff declared. "The perky might be worse than the pink."

"I blame the school board."

A sentiment that was likely to be echoed all over the island this weekend.

"Yeah, but they let me paralyze my students for a class and paint them blue, and that was awesome," Biff said.

Bond laughed. "I'll have to remember that one," he said. "It's been long enough they won't see it coming."

"Make sure it lines up with a dance, too," Biff suggested. "It took days for the paint to wear off and it freaked them all out."

"I'll see when Homecoming is." You were a terrible influence, Biff. Obviously Bond had missed you.

"They'll love it," Biff said. "What are you teaching, anyway?"

"Lying, this semester," Bond told him. "I'm sure I'll be able to find a way to work it in."

Like how to tell your teacher wasn't lying when he said he was going to paint you blue.

"Oh, that should be easy," Biff agreed. "Tell them you're painting them red and it'll totally come off."

"Or that it's a valuable lesson in mistrusting authority."

"Also important for young minds," Biff agreed.

Bond nodded. "How else are they going to learn about it, if we don't give them reason to?"

"It's traumatizing them with a purpose."
