Office Hours [All Day, Monday]

The air in Bond's office was a little less repressed than usual, not that he'd admit it was mostly due to the night he'd had, and despite the way he was focused on his computer, Bond seemed almost ready to jump out of his skin at the slightest disturbance.

Not that he was in any mood for it.

Bond's hand hadn't closed over a letter-opener, ready to throw before he realised it was Deadpool, that would have been silly. It was nowhere near sharp enough.

He nodded, moving his hand away from the opener. "Deadpool."

Very silly indeed! He needed sharper knives.

Deadpool politely ignored it and smiled, holding up a six pack of beer for him.

"I am a firm believer in beer and bad reality TV making all things better and now I must share this strategy with you!"

Privately, Bond thought that tracking down a certain Mr White and introducing him to a not quite fatal amount of lead poisoning would work even better, but since that avenue was currently closed to him alcohol sounded like a very good alternative.

"I'm a generous guy," Deadpool replied, grinning still. Not going to mention anything. Nope.

"So... did you like the panel?"

"It was quite...interesting." Interesting in this case also meaning bringing up things he was trying quite hard to repress at a more inopportune moment than he'd have liked. "Although I did notice a certain...pessimism throughout."

"Yeeeaah. The longer you're in the world, the more people are around to try and drag you back in." He looked off toward anything that might be more interesting than this.

Maybe some books. He needed some for his office.

"I had an ex pop up to pull me into it again. Kidnapped my husband. I wasn't the most happy with her." He shrugged, far too casual.

Deadpool set the case on his desk, handing one over to James. "Now, I wasn't sure if you'd have a TV and DVD player, but I did bring you some ANTM."

Bond took a moment to admire Deadpool's taste in beer before opening the bottle. "In the corner." he said, gesturing. "In case I need to show a student precisely how they went wrong during an exercise"

Humiliation could be a surprisingly effective teaching technique in carefully measured doses.

"Awww, I never actually thought of that," Deadpool admitted, pulling a DVD out of... well let's not ask where-- and putting it in. "Then again, the only people in danger of dying where them, so that kinda kept them on their toes."

"True enough," Bond agreed, taking a pull of his beer. "But there is the fact that on the whole teenagers are more scared of looking bad than death to consider."

"Did you make sure to put people with crushes on each other in the same car. I found that worked well. All double-edged swordy, but it helped," Deadpool said, pushing play and sipping his own beer delicately.

Bond winced, although whether it was the show or Deadpool's comment that caused it was up for debate. "I can see how that would make things difficult."

But he even started him slowly! With that wonderful rant by Elyse in the first season!

"And make sure not to let the terribly sweet ones drive without setting up plenty of safety measures. They're the ones you have to look out for."

Bond couldn't help it, the show was a perfect example of how fashion and style were two completely different things.

"Yes, I've noticed that several of them seem...nervous."

And Deadpool wore red and black PJs as a costume.

Yes.

Though he did think James' outfit was quite fetching.

"There needs to be a way for them to get non-you people to help them practice outside of class," Deadpool replied, nodding seriously. "That'll also help keep you sane. Ish. Sanish."

Yes, but he wore those pajamas with such flair.

"I should probably start looking for a pool of people I don't like then," Bond remarked dryly. "Sanity and amusement that way."
