There being a severe lack of peeps in England, Bond had collected quite a number of them yesterday after they'd hardened, and was now experimenting in ways to eat them.

Currently he was holding a skewer of them over a Bunsen burner he'd acquired somewhere.

Deadpool was going to walk by to grab lunch, but...

The Bunsen burner... IT CALLED TO HIM.

"Put them in the microwave! They explode in that fun Alien kinda way."

"They do?" Bond asked, blowing on a peep that had been just that bit too close to the flame and had caught fire.

Deadpool nodded sagely. "And if you give them toothpicks, it looks like they're dueling."

A beat.

"before the explosion, of course."

Bond considered the not quite so flaming peeps. "But wouldn't a toothpick hasten the exploding?" he asked seriously.

That got Deadpool to wince. "Now I want a beer." A beat. "Or some peeps. Mmm, sugary alcohol."

"I wonder if they dissolve in alcohol," Bond said, pushing the basket of peeps in Deadpool's direction.

Grabbing a peep, Deadpool held up up close to his face. "Hmmm. Now I must try this forbidden fruit."

"Maybe vodka might work better than beer," he suggested. "Or something with a higher-proof."

Bond made a mental note to get a minibar installed in his office at the earliest opportunity.
