She smiled. "I'm sure you are. Do you know what twins are, then?"

"Where the people look very much the same but they're not the same person?"

For some reason, RJ was looking very knowing at this.

Jules nodded again, starting to look worried.

"I'm just your mother's twin," she said, feeling a sharp little pang for the child. "I'm sorry."

"Ha."

"RJ."

Jules glared at RJ. "Take that back."

"Or what?" RJ asked.

"Or you'll be sorry."

RJ laughed again. "Nuh uh."

Jules reached out to shove RJ. "Uh huh."

"Hey!" RJ shoved him back. "Yeah huh!"

"You so are!" Jules yelled, going to tackle RJ.

RJ was totally prepared for that, so there was equal tackling going on from his side. He may, in fact, have been trying to push Jules down as well.

Da always said that gentlemen didn't try to bite when they fought, but Jules didn't think RJ counted as a gentleman at all.

And Mom always said that slapping and scratching was a girl's way of fighting, which seemed so fitting for Jules.

Mum frowned on hair-pulling, but Jules was sure she'd make an exception for the little git.
